Crisis Connection is a nonprofit agency that provides 24-hour crisis counseling by telephone through trained volunteers on our free access community hotlines, and through Masters level mental health professionals in our fee-for-service mental health partner service known as the After Hours Counseling Service.

Our After Hours Counseling Service is a fee-based service staffed by Masters Level therapists trained in crisis intervention and telephone counseling. Our team becomes partners with EAPs, clinics, community agencies and private professionals to provide added daytime support, extended hours and evening, weekends and holiday coverage.

For 30 years Crisis Connection has devoted its resources to helping people at the very moment they need help.  To learn more explore the links to the right, or call 612-852-2200.

Why Call Crisis Connection?

Individuals call for help with a wide variety of issues including depression, suicide, abuse, family and relationship problems, addiction and others. We speak with  callers, help them deal with their issues and concerns, and often refer to the hundreds of community agencies who can provide further help.

"Volunteering at Crisis Connection has made a difference in my life as it has allowed me to look into my own life in new ways. The most important part for me is just to be there for someone who is in need."
